AC Installation
A new air conditioner only performs as well as its installation. We size the unit to the room, choose sensible positions for the indoor and outdoor units, run neat and insulated pipework, and vacuum and commission the system to the manufacturer’s specification.
The result is a unit that cools quickly, drains cleanly, runs quietly and lasts the years it was designed for.
Installation stages
Stage 1
We check the room size, sun exposure, wall construction, power supply and the route for pipes and drainage.
Stage 2
The indoor unit goes where air spreads evenly; the outdoor unit where it can breathe and be serviced safely.
Stage 3
Brackets are fixed level and secure, the wall is cored cleanly and sleeves are sealed against water and insects.
Stage 4
Copper is cut, flared and insulated correctly. Drain lines are given a steady fall so water never backs up.
Stage 5
We pressure-test, vacuum the system, open the valves and record operating figures in front of you.
Choosing capacity
An undersized unit runs flat out and never quite cools the room. An oversized one cools in short bursts, leaves the air damp and wears out faster. This table is a starting point; our survey adjusts it for sunlight, ceiling height, insulation and how many people use the space.

Good to prepare
Extra pipe length, stands, conduit and electrical work beyond a standard run are quoted after the survey, before the work begins.
Relocations
We pump the refrigerant down into the outdoor unit, disconnect and cap the pipework, and transport or store the units safely. At the new address we reinstall, vacuum and recommission — so the gas you already paid for is not lost to the air.
Installation questions
A standard split unit installation takes three to five hours. Longer pipe runs, difficult outdoor positions or multiple units may need a full day.
Yes. Share the model number when you book so we can bring the right brackets, pipe sizes and fittings.
Larger units should have their own circuit and breaker. We check your supply during the survey and tell you if any electrical work is needed.
Somewhere with free airflow, out of direct afternoon sun if possible, and where a technician can reach it safely for servicing.
Yes. Our installation workmanship is guaranteed and the unit carries the manufacturer’s warranty, which a correct installation helps protect.
Book a survey and we will recommend the right capacity and position before you buy.
